My DR. prescribed me some meds for my nausea and vomiting. Didn't have to take any for my previous pregnancy but it is so bad since I work and run around that I had to take something. He gave me both Zofran and Reglan and basically told me to try them both out to see which one worked better. Looking at the side effects I am going towards Zofran even though Reglan is a stronger dosage it also have more side effects that are pretty scary if you take it for so long.

Which one worked for you.. Any side effects??

I chose zofran. Reglan had bad side effects for me and I didn't like it at all.

You're probably fine with either then. Regular does pose the risk of depression but if you don't have a history it's not likely. But I think most people go with zofran.

Zofran makes me constipated but reglan gives me *terrible* headaches.

So def. the zofran.

Here's the thing....I know all about reglan's side effects and it can be pretty scary. I would try to stick with the zofran because it helps right away if it's the dissoving ones. But they can also be really expensive and medicaid especially only pays for 10 pills every 30 days. At least they did with me. I took Reglan, never had side effects. The worst side effects are for those who have to take it for an extended time and mostly happen in chemo patients who have to take it all the time. I would say as long as you aren't taking it all the time and only in severe cases, you should be just fine! Good luck though.
