In addition to a g-tube, noob's surgeons want to do an anti-reflux surgery, anyone else's LO have this done? Where they "wrap" part of the stomach to prevent vomiting?

Yes my LO had it done at 4 months old..its called a Nissen Fundoplication..and it has made a world of difference! Now he is a chunky healthy 13 month old and only tube fed at night. Warning you ahead when they come out of surgery it is visually disturbing and hard to accept but by day three they feel so much better..please keep a close eye on your childs pain management coming out of surgery they don't like to use heavy narcotics with infants but my son needed morphine and they hesitated but once his heartrate hit 200+ and he was screaming I was out screaming at the.nurses station..lol sometimes you may need to be pushy..gtubes can be a pain with tissue overgrowth that has to be burnes off every so weeks but hopefully you can get home healthcare bc it helped alot
