Potty Training Question *Big Mama of 4* 20 kids; Jackson, Tennessee 363 posts

Is 14 months too young to start potty training? My 14 month old daughter keeps taking her diaper off. My mom said it means she's ready to be potty trained. Is that true?

You can start it now but don't expect it to be over night.

It's not too young to start introducing her to the potty but just because he is taking her diaper off does not mean she is ready.

Nope, start talking to her about it and take her to bathroom when you go! My 2nd and 3rd fully trained themselves at 18 (2nd) and 17 (3rd)months old
