Okay so obviously i know my breasts arent engorged. But OMG, my b**bs they hurt and feel full, and its killing me lol.
They are hot to the touch and weigh 5 lbs a piece i swear! I have to wear a bra 24/7 or my back starts hurting.

Is there anything i can do to help this?
I started producing colostrum at about 16 weeks, and its just gotten worse as the weeks have gone by.

Have you considered pumping?

Quoting Pirate Hooker {BAMW}:" Have you considered pumping?"

i was told you couldnt do that because it would cause contractions since i havent breastfed in 10 months.

Was unaware of that.
Maybe a heating pad on low, or some kind of moist heat. Almost like a treatment for a clogged duct.

i gotta try something, i swear. I can hand express and can get a ton out, so idk if that would be okay to do since technically its not nipple stimulation.

If that provides you with relief, then go for it.
Ask your doc at your next appointment what you can do for relief.

try taking a hot shower and let the water run on them... mine were like that with my first, they hurt so bad, then i would take a hot shower, and they would start expressing by themselves, but my god, it felt so much better when i got out...at least for a little while!! some comfort is better than none lol

Also, maybe a long shot, but trying getting in touch with La Leche League or a lactation consultant. They may be able to help too.

I was told to soak my breasts in warm/hot water.
