My DD has had a rash for about two and half weeks now, it is covering most of her body now. We took her to the E.R. I think it was about a week after she had the rash because it started spreading and I was worried, they said it was either poison ivy or scabies, gave us a prescription for a cream and sent us on our way, we didn't even see a doctor. Here it is eight days later and the rash is still there and still spreading. WTF do I do? Wtf is it? If it was poison ivy it would be gone by now and if it was scabies since we co sleep and I'm a stay at home mom someone in this house would have it besides just her. I just don't get it. Her temp has been around 99 and she has been fussy but she is also teething, I just don't know what to do. She is 19 mos old. TIA.

Have you talked to your pedi about it?

Typically, when you're discharged from the E.R. you're advised to follow up with your regular doctor. I would've made an appointment.

We don't really have one, we just got our insurance back. DS has one I just haven't gotten around to making her an appointment with them. :/

It's alright, it happens. And you did take her to the E.R., it's not like you have been neglectful!
