went to the hospital cause of lack in movements which ended up being that I just wasn't feeling her movements. I had an NST and they said she look amazing. but then scheduled another one for Thursday.if the baby looked okay why would I need another? It just kind of worried me. Anyone had this? I just need someone to put my mind at ease.

It's just a precaution to put everyone's mind at ease.

usually once they do 1 NST, they'll do another each week. just to make sure baby has enough fluid and is moving enough

Oh I didn't know that. Well then if it just is a precautionary thing then I have nothing to worry about. thank you!

they put 2 monitors on your belly, one for the heartbeat, one for contractions. they give you a clicker thing and whenever you feel any movement, you click it. they are trying to see if the heart rate increases/decreases with contractions. if so, baby is stressed & it can be bad. the ultrasound, they measure pockets of fluid & calculate how much fluid is in there. too much/little is bad. both boys had too little & had to be induced

i don't see how that would help me due to i wasn't having any contractions when they did the test last night.hmmm. but thankyou!

I'm due the day after you and they make me do one every week just to check on the baby because I have GD. They started having me do them at like 32 weeks and every at every visit everything looks fine. It's just then being overly cautious. But better safe than sorry.

Also when I had my NST today I told her the baby was being very lazy and really didn't move at all during the test, but they said the heartbeat and looked amazing and everything looked great even though I didn't really feel the baby during the test. Just thought I would add that to put your mind at ease.:D
