Does anyone have a picture of a newborn with eyes that are not blue? My sons don't look blue but I can't tell what color they are because they're so dark. Just wanted something to compare it to.

My son's eyes were really dark at first. It was several days before they started looking blue.

I'm mobile right now but all of my kids were born with gray or steel gray eyes. They later changed to whatever color they were going to be except the baby his are still gray.

I don't, but my brown eyed daughter was born with deep blue eyes, so I just assumed all newbs were born with blue.

My middle son was born with flat out brown eyes and my youngest was born with sortof a grayish brown that eventually went as dark brown as his brother's. My oldest had the typical blue eyes and his went brown in the middle with green rings around the outside. It was pretty cool, but didn't last more than about 6 months. :) His eyes are now brown too.

One of my brothers had almost dark grey eyes when he was born. They turned brown shortly there after.

What age are their eye colors permanent? My son is 3 and still has blue eyes with a brwn spec in 1 eye and my DD is 1 and has blue eyes still also.

I think they have the possibility of changing up until age 5, but most of the time they don't change after 6-12ish months.

I think it varies. My daughters were the typical steel blue when she was born and by 5 months they were this really pretty green/gray. When she was around 18 months they started changing to what looked like brown. On her 3rd birthday DH and I had taken her to get a cupcake and we were sitting in a really sunny window when I noticed her eyes are actually still gray in the middle, with brown around the outside - they just look completely brown!

I want to say his eyes look brown/green already. I know most babies have blue eyes, but some are born with brown eyes; I've just never actually seen one that was.

My LOs eyes were almost black when he was first born and now at 10 months they have lightened up a bit.

Lol thank you :) when I was pushing him out the nurses were telling me "he has so much hair!" And I just kept telling them "that's nice, now get him OUT!"

Guess I will just have to wait and see. DS was born with the born spec, I would say it covers 1/4 of his right eye, pedi said it was just a discoloration like people born with 2 different colored eyes. My kids stole my moms eyes because neither SO or I have blue eyes, I have hazel and he has green lol

My sons pedi said at 4 month they stop changing dramatically....but I am not so sure if it's true since he also claims there is no such thing as teething
