Does it sound like I have PCOS? *Mrs. Mom* Due April 25; 2 kids; Ohio 1912 posts

my husband and I haven't been using protection since march 2012. I had a chemical pregnancy December 2012. After that in February I used the clear blue digital ovulation test kit and I took them every day twice a day on alot of days. I got 3 positives. cd 15,20,26. After all those positives I tested an hour later and they were always negative. We have sex at least 4 to 5 times a week. Its been 17 months since we haven't used protection and Ive only gotten pregnant once. Is that normal or does it sound like I dont ovulate much?

I have heard you can have a positive OPK with out actually releasing an egg. Seems as it is a hormone surge that triggers ovulation it makes sense to me. I wouldn't assume PCOS unless you have other symptoms.

Anything else besides being irregular? If you think it's PCOS go get your hormone levels tested. With my PCOS I have pretty much every symptom except cysts.

Could be, it's hard to say. Cramping in the middle of cycles could also be ovulation.
Doesn't hurt to get it checked out, though.
