My son is a psychopath Tiff Pop Due November 30; Japan 10 posts

Yes you read right. My five year old son Evan is evil. I don't know what to do. His doctors just recommend drugging him into a stupor. His teachers are at a loss. He has been kicked out of three daycare facilities and now attends one with a special needs class and is still a terror.

A quick list of things he has done recently...
Held another kid underwater at the pool to try and drown him.
Stomped on a classmate's head so hard they had a concussion.
Stabbed his teacher with a pencil.
Stabbed a classmate in the eye with a toy rolling pin.
Squished our pet hamster to death.
Repeatedly tells me he is going to murder his brother when I have him (due in october).
Told a classmate he is going to cut her fingers off.

And that is just a short list of recent events. He has also killed a cat and sent an old classmate to the hospital by ripping a portion of their ear off with his teeth.

He IS medicated. He is at the highest dose that doesn't make him sleep 18 hours a day. He has a TEAM of medical professionals. None of us know what to do. I am scared for my newborn son's life as well as mine almost. I have to lock him in his room at night with a bedpan otherwise he tries to run away.

Is there ANYONE out there with some type of advice? I am so lost. So alone. So afraid.

Please don't take this the wrong way but where did he learn that behavior from and when did all of this start? I can't even begin to imagine what you're going through or what is going through his mind, maybe he's a schizophrenic.

This was my thought. Sorry mama that's heartbreaking and scary as hell.

 If this is all true I would probably have him committed to a hospital that can care for him and keep him safe.

Definitely inpatient worthy. I wouldnt have him around a newborn if hes killed and hurt before. Good luck

Quoting GavinsMomJohnnysWife:" Please don't take this the wrong way but where did he learn that behavior from and when did all of this ... [snip!] ... start? I can't even begin to imagine what you're going through or what is going through his mind, maybe he's a schizophrenic."

It isn't always about where they learned it. If he has no remorse for anything he does, the word she's looking for is sociopath, not psychopath. It doesn't mean anyone taught them anything, there is just some issues in the orbital cortex of the brain.

What happened in this child's life that made him this way? I have a five year old and I couldn't even imagine what you or the child are going through. Is he in counseling? Maybe he needs inpatient until they can figure out what's wrong.

That's so sad :(

I agree with the others. Inpatient therapy. For his safety and your family's.

For now, he needs to be in a facility that can provide 24 hour care. He's a threat to himself and others; a severe threat. Inpatient is the only safe way to provide him care right now, in my opinion.

Nothing happened to him. He's had a relatively average life surrounded by people that love him. Even as a baby he was off. He never cried.

I hate to send him off. I feel like I'm giving up on my child.

And he has officially been diagnosed as schizophrenia NOS, bipolar, and antisocial personality disorder.
