So I had mirena removed on june 25th....I had what I thought was a light light light period on the 28th. According to that I was suppose to O the 12th. On the 11th I was doubled over with sharp stabbing pains. I took an OPK and it looked positive....guessing since you never really know with those things.
well for the past two days my breasts have been sore on the sides, ive been sleepy, and now im havin a dull ache in my pelvic area.

is the effects of mirena removal playing tricks on me or something else....anyone have amy experience?

I never had any of those symptoms after having mine removed actually I didn't have any symptoms at all and it took 2 months for my period to come back. My doctor told us to wait 2 months though after having it removed before TTC which we did and after 4 months of TTC I finally got pregnant.

I still had periods on mirena, just a hell of a lot lighter then normal. And from what I remember I did. And I meant to say august of 2011 was when it was removed.

My doctor didnt tell me anything after removal. I have read that some were told to wait and some were not.

I wasn't told to wait. Then again, I didn't get it removed from my dr. It dislodged. So i had it removed at urgent care. But they gave me a RX for the pill but SO and I decided to not have BC and TTC

My cycles were very regular after my periods came back and I never had one while I had the Mirena. I had it in for a few months shy of 5 years.

Sounds like my situation! How long did it take for yours to come back.
