Are my crochet skills gooed enough to sell on etsy? Mandy Schlatterer Due March 27 (girl); 2 kids; New Port Richey, Florida 1437 posts

This is my own pattern. It's not done. It has a hat and shoes not in the photo, and I'm making a diaper cover and adding shoulder straps.

How much could this sell for, or is it not up to par yet?
Honesty please!

If I paid you, would you make a blanket out of that pink yarn?

I'd buy it. I don't know how much crocheted (is that a word?) clothes usually go for though.

looks great! I think you'll make more off of making you own pattern and selling that, and then taking customs orders if people don't crochet.

That is so cute! And it's your own pattern? I wish I could do something like that, I can only follow a pattern or come up with something simple/tweak a pattern.

Sure! I have lots of that kind leftover. How big do you want the blanket and what kind of stich? And I don't know what I should price things, so put an offer lol

I used to knit and had a 65 year old room mate who crocheted and I swore I'd never do it because the stuff she made was, well...her age should say it all lol. But once I realized you can crochet stuff that doesn't look old-timey, I never touched knitting needles again...

...besides the other day, first time in 18 months, made a bath rug out of "t-shirt yarn" :P

It's about the size of a receiving blanket. My daughter is 2.5 and obsesses with the blanket she got in the hospital. I've already replaced it once and need to do so again.:lol:

The blanket:

$15 to 20? I'm not good at pricing things either.

15 or 20, you pick, I can't do it lol.

I can make one that looks like that, typical receiving blanket size.... not sure what that is because I have two sizes to compare to...

Could you give me the measurements?

:)

Wait maybe my eyes are bad, but that looks knitted.
Is it okay if the blanket is done in the same stich as the dress, and if so, what part, the skirt, tank, or middle?

I love it! :D I would buy from you. Just make sure you spell everything right on the page and you'll do great :)
