I just took one for the first time tonight and it actually seems to be working.... I just read on the bottle not to take if you're trying to become pregnant.... Is this for real? Should I not take anymore? I don't want to take anything that may screw this up for us....

TIA, this will be a post and run due to the fact that I now am sooooooo tired and need to drag myself to bed.

I love melatonin! It helps me sleep. Idk about the ttc part but I'm not fertile but that has been long before the melatonin

I can't remember why, but it is NOT SAFE for pregnancy or TTC (because you may become pregnant and it will be in your system from implantation til you test or even longer).

DH takes it and has good results.

I've also been told (by my RE) it's not safe for TTC.

Just read up because I was curious. Melatonin can effect your bodies natural cycle because it is a hormone your body naturally has and having to much can effect your normal cycle. So it is not suggested while trying to conceive because of the hormonal imbalance and should only be taken if it is a hormone you are lacking.

Oh no! I NEED melatonin to stay asleep :( It takes me a while to fall asleep no matter what but if I don't take melatonin, I wake up a couple of hours later and can't fall back to sleep. I guess I need to look for alternatives. Crap.

Thanks. Looks like ill have to stop it then.
It's taking me a long time to wake up from it too... So idk if its a good match. It was a great sleep though last night.
I've been having insomnia problems lately, that's why I tried it.

Try Rescue Sleep. That's what my midwife recommended to me my last pregnancy
