I have no idea, but I'd love to learn how to sew. :)

I'm still a beginner. I learned how to use a sewing machine in home ec... do they even have that class anymore?? I figure a baby blanket should be fairly easy

This is the fabric I want

They had it when I was in HS 10+ years ago. Lol, I'm not sure about now. That would be so cute. I love the solid color on the other side, it's like having two blankets. You should do some matching curtains. :)

We share a room so curtains wouldn't work but I want to do a picture board with the same fabric.
I seen the John Deere set (comforter, sheet, bumper ) used for $75 on craigslist.

Standard sizes are: baby quilt, 36 inches by 54 inches; crib size, 45 inches by 60 inches; and lap size, 54 inches by 72 inches.

This is what I found, when getting the fabric though you want to leav a couple inches on each edge for play room. So I would say you need like 40 inches by 58 inches. But that's not how it works lol. So as long as it 58+ inches wide you can get 1 1/2 yards, if its not atleast 58 inches wide, you need to get abut 2 yards.
