My friend's SO is older..about 15 years roughly..are there any pregnancy risks for fathering a child of an older guy? I mean I read something stating there was but I believe it was over 45? What are they, if any?

They did a study that supposedly older fathers have a greater risk of producing children with autism. But everything it seems like is risked to autism.

My SO is 23 years older than me. There were no risks that I know of, nor did the doctor say anything to me about there being a risk.

It seems to me that for men thats more the norm than being in their 20s or younger.

We are in our thirties, healthy kids. My oldest has autism but we are pretty sure its due to a cord incident at birth.

Even women aren't at risk from issues with age until 35 and guys in general produce longer and at older ages than women.
