How did/do you do it? I start my new job monday, it's from 9am-5:30. I've been with DS since the first day he was born and I'm completley sad leaving him in daycare, but we have money issues so I have to work "/. How much do you pay for full time daycare? When do you wash/cook/clean? and how stressful is it? TIA.

I started working when DS was 16 months old. It was really hard and I missed him a lot. I paid $400 a month for day care. And you learn to wash/cook/clean on your lunch breaks (if you can), after work and on weekends.

It can be very overwhelming at first but now that I have settled into my little routine it's very easy to juggle everything. Fridays are family nights, Saturday mornings are for running errands and the afternoons are chores. Sunday is my rest day and the day I get to spend fully with DS.

Was that a regular daycare or in home daycare? I'm taking DS to an in home daycare and it's $600 a month D:

It's a home daycare. She gave me a discount because DS's dad wasn't helping with the daycare cost. Her regular price was $750 a month.

My son is in a in home daycare for $75 a week or $300 a month

I work 8-5 Mon-friday. I get ALL my errands done on Saturdays. And laundry. The only day I clean is Saturday too. My house doesnt get super messy because Im never home but to sleep anyway. Most grocery shopping done is after I get off work. On lunchbreaks I will do things like get my eyebrows arched, run to the bank, go to a vet appointment etc short things like that.

i work full time, usually m-w-f 7a-7p and then a tues or sat from 330am till 12noon.

i pick up every night after the kids go to bed, vaccum, and do at least a load of laundry. on my days off i do 2-3 loads of laundry, scrub the floors/kitchen/bathrooms. i go grocery shopping sundays, and meal plan during the morning/early afternoon, and then sunday night is family night.

im a single mom so this is how it has to be. it SUCKS. and my son also has therapy every thursday, and at LEAST 1 doctor apt a week, so that drains alot of time as well. its so much easier when the girls are in school during the school year, so i can do my running without them.... cant wait for summer break to be over!! it really sucks, because i always plan fun things for the weekend, then half the time im too exhausted to do things.

my kids father watches them part of the time, and i pay his mom the other part, so its only 250 a month for child care.
