So, I am so bad with girl names, I never know what I like or want! I came across the name "Jolie" it means pretty in french! The french pronunciation is zhoh-LEE, however, I am thinking everyone (including myself) would more likely pronounce it Jo-LEE, is that stupid? Idk, I just don't want to butcher the name by not using the proper pronunciation. So thoughts on this name and/or the pronunciation?

You'll get "as in angelina?" a lot.

It's ok.

There is no way people wouldn't associate it with the movie star, all the time. Pass.

I like the pronunciation zhol-lee better than Jo-lee. But its inevitable that everyone would call her jo-lee
