I am finally pregnant again, and this time (because I have so many health problems trying to conceive) this is going to be my last baby. I want to know what all of you think about knowing the sex? I really like the idea of being surprised all the way up until the baby is placed onto my chest. What do you think? My husband wants to know the sex, but I'm really hoping that when he finds out, he will keep it from me.
I wanted this pregnancy to be a surprise.... but when the time came, I couldn't hold out. :)
I think its great for others that want to do that. But I just can't lol. I hate a lot of gender neutral colors and I like to plan things. Like DS had a bunch of stuff with his name on it before he was born.
I wanted to know asap. I just knew I was pregnant with a boy, there was no doubt. It really felt just like a confirmation. lol
I had to know the sex with all three otherwise I would have went crazy with wondering. As much as the surprise would have been neat there is no way I could have waited that long.
This will be our last baby too and since I have 2 boys already, we're going to wait and let this one be a surprise! It would be great to find out for the planning aspect but instead we're just going to set aside money in our "baby" account and go crazy with shopping after. There are very few surprises in life I think this is a great one!
I want to know. My husband doesn't so I agreed to not find out. It's killing me not knowing but I've made it to 31 weeks without caving and I'm getting a little more excited about it being a surprise. I can't wait to hear my husband yell out "it's a boy" or "it's a girl" when I give birth.
Quoting Mom to L&L:" This will be our last baby too and since I have 2 boys already, we're going to wait and let this one ... [snip!] ... money in our "baby" account and go crazy with shopping after. There are very few surprises in life I think this is a great one!"
That is a wonderful idea about putting away baby money and going shopping afterwards! I think that with that, it would make it easier to have the baby as a surprise, because there really isn't that much neutral sex out there and so with all the pink and blue all around you, it does make it hard to keep the sex a surprise. So if you go shopping afterwards, that would make it a lot easier. :) I think I will do the same too. When are you due?
ive known with 3 of mine what sex they were. i'm not sure if i want to know this time or not. i'm really thinking about not knowing but my daughter is so excited about the fact she may finally have a sister shes dying to know.
she cried at the last scan when we were told another boy.

That is exactly how I want it to be. I get so happy and excited when I think about the time of birth when my husband tells me what the sex is when its born. I really like the thought. But the waiting game, I'm not to thrilled about.. Lol
I have a son and daughter already and when I found out I was pregnant this time around I didn't want to find out the sex! My SO did, but I had it set in stone that we were not going to find out. I wanted that surprise so bad. Then we found out we are having twins which is a big game changer it just made more sense for us to find out. I would have loved to wait though!
I have one of each, Im pregnant with a surprise! 38 weeks and delivering next Wednesday the 31st. Im completely happy with this decision! SO is too. But if your DH wants to know its going to be super hard for him not to tell you. ...
