that does sound nice...you know you can get one of those gel pillows to put in the tub and it supports you neck and head. I dont remember what they are called but they work wonders!

So my husband left for work this morning but instead of hearing the door shutting behind him, I hear him walking back into the bedroom. He was holding my keys, I asked him why he had them and he told me that they were LEFT in the door last night! Anyone could have gotten in our house or stolen my car! I felt so bad, I almost want to stay home now because I can't even remember to get the keys out of the door. I know forgetfulness is a part of pregnancy but I feel so alone, nobody else seems to be forgetful or clumsy like I am.

Don't beat yourself up over it. You are most certainly not alone. Just a couple of days ago I left my house to visit my mom and forgot to shut the garage door after I pulled out, nor did I lock the door that leads into the house from the garage! Lol. And on top of that, I forgot to let my dog back inside after he was done with his business, luckily it was windy and pretty outside; anyone could have walked into the house and robbed us blind. DH got home before I did, and he was pretty upset about my 'uh oh' moment Embarassed So, I am with you.

Ok ladies. Is anyone else as scared about having a baby in the winter as I am? This may not go for all of you if you live in states that don't get winter, but I am from Indiana. And my state is known as being bipolar lol One day its cold the next day it is warmer. We had snow a week in a half ago and then it went back to being in the 70s again. I am sooooo scared she is going to get sick a lot. My other babies are June, July and and October birthdays. I have never had a baby in the dead of winter. I have to leave so many times a day dropping and picking my kids up and have no one to stay with the baby plus with breastfeeding I want her with me at all times. I am just getting worried sick about it.

That is how it is down here (Ga), however we rarely ever get any real snow- if we are lucky we will get a paper thin layer of snow, and a lot of winters not even that. Lol. Perhaps that is why I am not so worried about it. Not to mention, in the event that we do get that paper thin layer of snow, we shut this state down!

I am not scared per se' but I know it will be different then the other two and I worry about getting to and from appts or the hospital. I live in NY and we get slammed when winter finally does hit. I have to travel horrible roads so I worry about getting to and from before he is even here and then even worse traveling with him in the car because he will be on my commute every day when I do return back to work.

Wow. Here we get snow anywhere from October-March. Here in the last few years we have only gotten flurries here and there nothing that stuck long until December then we get hit hard with inches until March when it starts to warm up more. If our state shut down for the snow we would be screwed lol

I am. But my second son who was born in October was hospitalized when he was 3 months old for having RSV (liquid in his lungs.) He had to be IVed and everythign. I think thats a big part of why I am scared with this one. She is going to be born in the dead of winter and I have to leave at 7:20 every moring to take my kids to school. Then back out again at 11:30 to pick up two of my kids then back out again at 2:30 to get my other son. We dont live in the area where my oldest attends school so I have to drive him there and back every day and my other two are in headstart and they dont supply transportation.

Lol. I can remember being a kid in school, and like every kid down here, praying for a good flurry or some ice- that way we didn't have to go to school. Hahaha. But it does get a little annoying. Like if the forecast says there is even a small chance for snow, people flip out. Everyone rushes out to the store to buy bread, canned food, candles and batteries, and 9/10 times there isn't a flake of snow to be seen. It gets somewhat chilly in October, but it doesn't usually start to get cold until late Nov., and warms up in March. I always wondered what it was like to get feet of snow.

I dont mind the snow. Its the people that I have a problem with. They get so stupid when it snows. And its not just like that there it is like that here too. If they hear snow is coming they stock up on food. When it is around the winter months you go to the grocery store and you dont even have to watch the news if you see people stocking up then yup they have heard a snow storm is coming. What I hate around here is the ice. When we get an ice storm it lays on our electric lines and we are without electric for 3-4 days. It sucks. Where we are at right now isnt too bad cuz I live right behind my mother in law and they ahve a generator, but we are going to be moving once the school year ends and I am soooooo buying a generator to take with us lol

Ugh! So i really wanted sausage, biscuits, and gravy this morning for breakfast so hubby got all the supplies at the store last night...Well he goes to make it all and opens up the sausage and our whole house starts stinking SUPER bad! He looks at the package and it expired over 12 days ago!!!! :( We called Wal-mart to let them know that their meat was expired and to check all the other sausage to make sure its not expired too, they said we can come up and exchange it for a new one..so i guess we can go do that tomorrow morning..but i was really wanting it today...Not so much now that the whole house is stinky.

Wow, nothing like that around here. Like I said- 9/10x nothing happens, no snow/ice, nothing. But the one time it does happen, it usually melts the next day, if not than it is deff gone by day 3. Than the excitement is done for the year. Lol.
