How long were you in labor? How long did you push? If you have more than one child, did you have a shorter/easier birth with them? My mom is freaking me out with her "facts" and I have nothing better to do than lay in bed and worry at the moment haha.

11.5 hours long, including 41 minutes of pushing. I was also 4cm for a few weeks before delivering, too.

My labor was 27 hours from the first real contraction till dd was born. I pushed for 3 hours. I was also induced so it could be why it took longer than some others.

32 hours of labor with my first, 56 minutes of pushing. I was in preterm labor with my 2nd so I don't know what to go by... but my water broke and that was the only way I knew it was time to head to the hospital. 16 minutes later she was born...

My labor was 2.5 hours from beginning to end and I pushed 5 times so maybe 10 min tops. What is she saying that has you so freaked out?

She said with your first baby you can be in labor for days and you usually push for hours .

My water broke and after like 6 hours of no no contractions they induced. So total hours from water breaking and having her was like 19 hours. Only pushed a few times.

My last labor of my 4th was an Induction and was only like 5 hours.. I pushed maybe 20 mins but I was all natural an scared of pushing cuz that shit hurts

With my first son, I started having contractions around midnight... Was admitted at the hospital at about 7 AM. Labored all day long.. WITH pitocin. He was born at 5:23 PM after about 15 minutes of pushing. So if you are counting labor as when my contractions began coming regularly, about 17 1/2 hours.

With my second, I started having random contractions here and there (about every 10-20 minutes) around noon. It wasn't until 5 PM that they were coming regularly and I was able to time them. He was born at 12:19 AM after about an hour of pushing. So I would say about 7 1/2 hours for the second... Wow, a whole 10 hours less than my first... But my second was SO much harder to push out. lol

My waters broke on my due date and I went into labour straight away. 3days on my own, then 1day being induced to help me dilate. Still didn't dilate so had a c-section.

Around 12 hours total. I pushed for like, an hour, hour and a half? Maybe?

I was induced the second time so I'm not sure how long. But from the time I was 7 cm, to the time I delivered, approx 15 minutes went by.

Not always true. Everyone's different. My friend was in labour for 2hours with her first. From first contraction to holding baby.
