My mom is keeping the kids for a few nights so DH can stay with me in the hospital for a bit. I asked her to send me a few pictures earlier and just thought I'd share!

Thank you both! Before Tuesday, I hadn't even spent a night away from my youngest, and this is the longest I've been away from my older 2. It's just hard.

Really? Aweeee. I know it can be hard to be away from your babies. Why are you at the hospital if i may ask? Is everything okay? I see you're due in September...

I have complete placenta previa and placenta increta/acreta (I can never understand the doctors with their accents :?... but my placenta is embedding into my uterus).

I've bled off and on my whole pregnancy. Tuesday I woke up gushing more blood than I had before and passed 4 clots about the size of softballs. Went to the hospital close to my house and they finally got my bleeding under control, but then I was contracting. They started me on magnesium, but it didn't help and they transferred to the hospital with specialists (3 hours away, where I'm at now). They finally got my contractions to stop and decided to let Toby bake a little longer, but told me with how far along I am and how much blood I lost, I'll be in here until I have him. They were already planning on taking him at 36 weeks, and I just turned 32 weeks. I got steroid shots when everything started, but they are really wanting to keep him in a few more weeks if they can.

Sorry for the novel

Me too! I've never had to leave them like this so it's killing me. DD keeps telling Mawmaw or DH (whoever has her that night) that she doesn't want to go to sleep cause I'm not home :(

DS1 told me the first night I was here and they were home that he didn't like leaving me and he was going to come pick me up the next day.

He was at home with the kids, but my levels were so low yesterday and were affecting Toby, they thought they were going to have to take him. So everyone rushed down here just in case and we ended up stabilizing, thank goodness. Then my mom didn't want to leave me down here so she took the kids back home and told him to stay for a few days. I think he is heading home tomorrow though.

Omg wow how scary!!!! So basically they are going to keep you for weeks in the hospital? Or are they doing an emergency c-section soon? How are the ultrasounds looking since you've been in the hospital? Is the baby seeming to be doing alright?

They are hoping I'll be here for 4 weeks, but if I start actively bleeding again or contracting and they can't stop it, or if Toby is being put under too much stress, they will do an emergency csection.

So far, my ultrasounds look good. Toby is measuring ahead like always, and he has plenty of fluid. There is an abruption behind part of my placenta, which is why they think my levels keep dropping although I'm not actively bleeding right now. I'm still waiting to talk to the doctor tonight.

Toby's heart rate was staying really "flat" yesterday. It wasn't fluctuating like it should, and that was part of why they were so concerned and thought they were going to have to do the csection. Once I got some blood in me, he started looking better and has looked great today though.
