Quoting *Mary Moon*:" I figured this would be a great place to bring this up. Seems to be lots of non-spanking parents here. ... [snip!] ... as he is around the girls, he will bonk them, push them, slap them. Is it like toddler thunder dome instincts or something?!"
If they are pushing him around, then it's just him reacting to them. At his age it's hard to understand that sometimes people aren't nice. He doesn't have the capacity to reason WHY they're being mean or how to just ignore it. Not to mention the fact that he probably doesn't have the words to express how they're making him feel. Left out, picked on...ect.
I'd just remove him from the situation. Redirect him to something else. Give him another way to get his frustration out.
Quoting Mason & Carmen's Mommy:" She taps her on the butt which I'm sure she barley feels but gets her attention because saying no a ... [snip!] ... learning and learning there boundaries Which there is nothing wring with but its our job to steer them in the right direction."
It's not doing bad, FFS, it's called LEARNING.
You're squashing your child's independence and curiosity. And there are ways to lead them in the right direction without spanking them, slapping hands, or any other form of hitting.
This makes me so sad, seriously.
Quoting KateMichelle:" WOW ladies. Clam your faces down!! Yes I work at a preschool but I would never do anything to those kids. ... [snip!] ... even cry. You moms and being rude. DONT TELL ME HOW TO RAISE MY DD. SO back off. you can do what you want with your kids. idc."
So, what the kids at pre-school just run wild then? Or have you found another effective way of disciplining them?

um no they don't. they are old enough to know what's right and wrong and if they miss behave we sit and talk about it. THEY ARE NOT MY KIDS. my DD is still learning right from wrong. by the time she in preschool she will already know how to act.
