Adam and Eve or Dinosours and cavemen? Also, are you religious or not? This might turn into a post and run, I'm tired so I might get back on and read this in the morning rather than tonight.

Try not to argue, I'm interested in everyone's thoughts on the subject. I just recently started wondering about it and I'm just not sure.

TIA for your answers! :)

Dinosaurs technically it'd be the tiny microorganisms that evolved until the mammals and us. I think I worded it right sorry I'm tired. Anyway I believe in evolution but I also believe in God.

I also don't believe in Adam and Eve or the bible.

Well, it didn't start out dinosaurs and cavemen. lol. But as I don't believe in the bible, I don't believe in Adam and Eve in the garden of eden.

There were a lot of things that came before dinosaurs, and they were extinct 65 million years before the emergence of a human species.

Also, I hate the term "caveman", it's Neanderthal.

Dinosaurs of course. Adam and eve is a bed time story like jack and the bean stock.

Dinosaurs and cavemen. And no, I'm not religious. I'm agnostic. I accept the possibility of a higher power but I don't know if one exists and I'm fine with that. One of these days I'll find out, until that day I don't let it worry me.

My opinion? I think Adam and Eve came first. BUT I'm religious so what do I know?

The reason I believe this way is because in the bible, that was when the world was "first created". So IMO dinosaurs and cavemen couldn't rule the earth before it was created.

Probably get bashed for my opinion though. Oh well

I'm not sure where I stand. But my dad's theory was always interesting. In the Bible it says, 1 day in heaven in like 1,000 years. So the 7 "days" of creation could have been a lot longer then a literal day. Therefore gives enough time for dinosaurs to come and go before man. Like I said, I don't know where I stand myself.

Well, I'm catholic and I do believe in Adam and Eve and I also believe god created the earth, animals and then Adam and Eve so my first thought was that dinosaurs and cavemen aren't real but there's evidence that they are so now I'm confused about the whole thing. I haven't done much research and the only person I asked was DH and he was kinda the same as me so I thought I'd ask here! :)

ETA: I figure it comes down to what you believe so I thought I'd ask everyone. I know there a lot of people that don't believe in Adam and Eve and I figure there'd be some like me, at first, that don't believe in cavemen and dinosaurs so I just like hearing everyone's opinions.

If you go by that theory, each day would have to be far long than 1000 years.

The dinosaurs were around for about 135 million years.

Dinosaurs are believed to be mentioned in the bible in the Book of Job.

For the sake of argument, let's assume Adam and Eve are modern human beings or homosapiens. Now, in the bible God created beasts of the earth BEFORE he created man. Dinosaurs and even neanderthals or cavemen could be considered "beasts." So assuming Creationism were true, wouldn't cavemen and dinosaurs have came before Adam and Eve? Just something to think about.

I...what?
How do you not believe in something there IS evidence of? lol. I mean, we've dug up and pieced together how many different species of dinosaurs? It's one thing to have a religious belief, but turning a blind eye to facts is.... weird. I don't get it.
