i have never seen a soft spot that looked like this? is this normal? doctor has never said anything about it, and this is what it has always looked like. its the triangle thing at the front of her forehead. if this helps, they used the vacuum sucker thing at birth...could this be from that?

My oldest had the vacuum. It caused serious damage, a hematoma. His looked normal from a distance. Your daughters looks odd. I'd request an X-ray of her head.

That's very close to her forehead, my daughters was way further back. It looks a little strange. She's a cutie though!

I've no idea! Just any others that I've seen have been more in the center of the head. It's probably just how her little head formed. My daughter have a little lump on the back of her head, I noticed it about a month after she was born and I was so scared I ran to the doctors! It turned out to be just an over grown vein. It's gone now. I'm sure her doctor has checked her fontanel at her check ups, if it was anything to worry about they would have mentioned it to you. The only worry with them is if the sink in, that usually is a sign of dehydration.
