He has several excellent points. I'm still listening to it.

I like him... Very concise argument with real world examples. And I agree.... Legalization does not mean condoning it

He gave clear examples of why it should be legalized and controlled. He made sure to note that legalize doesn't mean they condone it. I think that was a top notch argument in favor of legalizing and I hope they took everything he said into serious consideration.

I would vote to legalize it if I knew that there was established limits of what constitutes impaired. For example, with alcohol the legal limit is clearly established. I am not okay with anyone smoking it in my house, coming into my house high, being around my children high, and my kids will be in huge trouble if I ever catch them with any weed. I do recognize there are some valid uses (such as medical marijuana for terminally ill) and that not everyone who smokes pot is a mindless drain on society.

I agree with him too. And I think that getting it legalized nationally would help out a lot of things. I think it would make a lot of dealers really pissed off but hell maybe we wouldn't be rapped for our money anymore
As for the children. I feel like kids are going to get ahold of it whether we like it or not. I was getting alcohol, cigs, and weed when I was 14. My parents didn't know about it for a whole year, and I kept the cigs form them for even longer.
But hopefully it WOULD cut down on how many can get ahold of it. Especially since people like to be dicks and lace it with shit.

Do you drink alcohol? Smoke cigarettes? Take any type of medications?

As a kid, it was easier to buy weed than alcohol or cigarettes. When I lived in Alaska, cops would usually be harder on us if they found alcohol then they would if they found weed.

I do drink a glass of wine with dinner sometimes, take medicine (other than tylenol) when prescribed by a dr, and used to smoke when I was 18.

So what's so different from you drinking a glass of wine and me smoking a small bowl?

It is nice to know that some people in our judicial system have common sense :)

To you, none. To me, weed is something I do not want anywhere in my life. I don't associate with alcoholics or other drug addicts (legal or not). I don't think everyone (or even most) people who smoke weed are bad or even irresponsible people. Like I said, I personally don't have anyone under the influence of any drugs (nor do I allow anyone in my house to be drunk off their ass, I have asked people to leave because their drunken behavior was unacceptable in my house) in my house. Under no circumstances would I ever allow anyone to smoke in my house.

I would not vote to make it illegal and I would vote to legalize it (although I do not condone it and will do my damndest to keep my kids from it) if I saw that there would be laws of safe legal limits. You get caught driving while drunk then there is a set limit they consider legally intoxicated. I have seen people high on marijuana alone that had no business driving. I just would like to know there is a legal recognizable limit of what is considered legally high and therefore illegal to drive.

I can't watch the video :( My personal experience with weed is that it is much safer than alcohol. At my highest, I could still walk, talk, and function normally. At my drunkest, I could not even lift my head haha. I
