DD is a month old as of tomorrow, She weights 9lbs 8oz and has yet to see her birth weight of 9lbs 13oz yet.

Breast milk gave her a rash, she constantly vomited, and had green mucusy stools.
Soy formula did the same.
Simular Alimentum has yet to improve any of her symptoms.
Now instead of Mucus in her stools its green, smells foul, and is loose.

She has zero head control and doesnt seem to be developing at all. She is always fussy and has a blank stare on her face constantly. No emotion whatsoever.

I honestly have no idea what is wrong or how to fix it. She has an appointment with a new pediatrician tomorrow, she was cleared for pyloric stenosis but she does have reflux.

LO has a milk protein allergy and has been on Alimentum for a while. The poops you're describing sound about right. LO's poop was pretty much the same. It's not quite so loose now because she's eating solids now too. But Alimentum poop is nasty. It makes her gas smell horrible too. But it DID help her symptoms immensely so we dealt with it. I know some people have success with goat's milk based formula and some people even make their own. That might be something to look into. How long has she been on the Alimentum though? It was a couple weeks before we started seeing a real improvement with LO. I guess all the old stuff had to work its way out of her system. If it hasn't been very long and at a month old I can't imagine it has, I'd give it another week or so and see if there's any changes. Good luck mama.

Loose stool is pretty normal. It should be soft and mushy.
I would definitely push for a more in depth evaluation that just for the digestive issues, although if she is having trouble digesting nutrition it could be preventing her proper growth and development. I really hope they can do something so you can get answers.

A friend of mine's daughter had to be on that formula she said the poops were AWFUL smelling, they stained everything they touched and were a funny color. She also said that it gave her daughter awful gas but it was the only formula she could have without breaking out in a rash.
