Barely getting by.. depressed... LivingEislee Due February 9; 1 child; Phoenix, Arizona 22 posts

When I started living in this apartment, I did it with the intention that me and my sons father were in it for the longrun, we had a child, shared the bills, got a dog things that I thought meant we were commited. Well long story short he lied, was emotionally and verblly abusive, and got a girl pregnant while we were together. When I found this out I immediately kicked his ass to the curb and moved on. It took a long time but I finally thought I was in a good place....and things were fine for awhile.

But I'm starting to realize that this is harder than I thought. I work my ass off I get as many hours as I can and have cut back in everyway I know of. The only thing I am not willing to do is move, this is an amazing neighborhood and is right near work. Though the rent is steep.
- I had to give the dog away, I couldn't affford to care for him and both of us.
-Gave up coffee, buying name brand things, the lit

tle extras that I use to take for granted.
- No more restaurants.

I just don't know how long I can do this.......... Espically with another baby on the way...

I'm sorry you're going through this, hopefully it'll get better for you soon. But for now You need to stay strong for yourself & your babies though.

Are you able to find a cheaper place that's in the same area? Or possibly a room mate?

so sad after reading this, you are going through very hard time i must say. lookfor a room mate might help you. you both can share bills. this will surely load off some burden from your shoulders. hope everything will be fine for you soon!

I've had a roomate for awhile and there were issues with the fact that she said she needed the baby to stop waking her up when he cried in the middle of the night. I was very courteous I got up as quickly asI could and immediately would try to comfort him so it was quiet but come on....

I know you are working but can you still qualify for food stamps, subsidized child care and reduced PG&E. I don't know what state you are in but here you are rewarded for working and can apply to all these programs.

This may sound BAD but I feel like I will be extremely judged and I'm afraid of the stigma that will follow me and my son... Does that make sense?
