My 2 1/2 year old is the whinest child I have ever experienced I have been around a few little kids her age and none of them are as whiney as she is. She is constantly crying or whining or screaming.

My son was NEVER like this. It drives me up the wall. I just wish that she would just talk to me and everyone else normal.

She drops something she Screams.
She wants something. She screams.
She is tired she screams.
She is happy she screams.
The only time she isn't screaming or whining is when she is sleeping!!!

Someone please tell me that this is just a stage that will pass LOL

She has a good vocabulary so I don't think it's the lack of words. I honestly think she does it for attention and when we try to redirect it or ignore it she just get's louder or goes into full tantrum where she starts whipping her arms around hitting whatever is near her or smacking her head off of something. It's crazy.

I am pretty sure that is just part of being a parent, ever child goes through this at one point or another.

It's a phase. A shitty one, for sure, but a phase. It will pass.
When my kids throw fits, I send them to their room so they can cry and scream somewhere else. lol.

Maybe remove her from the situation and just let her scream it out in her room. Tantrums have a lot less power when nobody is watching them.

Emotions are hard to deal with sometimes. Kids that young are still trying to cope with learning how to handle it all.

Refrain from calling her whiney in front of her, if you do -- not saying you DO, but just in case.

Hang in there! It gets better. :)

I've always told my daughter when she has had that Whiney tone.. "Excuse me.. Stop whining and use you normal voice. Whining doesn't get you anything." Still works to this day and she's 6 :)
