It seems like she was just looking for a fight. If a friend of mine had posted that picture, I would've asked if they were scared maybe but if they told me "no she loved it" I'd believe them. People don't generally go around posting pix of their kid being abused.
She would call CPS on me I guess because I turn my 1 year old upside down and jiggle her around saying where's your lunch money. She laughs hysterically she loves and when I stop she usually begs me to do it again. I also let her run around stark naked (she won't leave her diaper on) and we toss her in the air *gasp*

LOL she loves it she laughs hysterically. I got it off of the old cartoons where the bully used to shake the twiggy nerdy kid upside down saying where is your lunch money. I couldn't think of anything better to say while doing it and she thought it was funny so I just kept doing it
That's outrageous. I have two teenage daughters who used to love being hung upside down when they were little. Their dad used to call it "tick-tock" b/c he'd swing them back and forth like a pendulum while holding their ankles. They still remember how much fun it was and if he could still manage it at their size, I'm sure they'd still be begging their Daddy to do "tick-tock"!
People who use CPS over a personal grudge or as a means to get back someone are criminals and should be dealt with as such. They are directly responsible for the deaths of children all over this country by weighing down case workers' work loads with nonsense to satisfy their own sick minds. The agents have to follow up on every report and they waste precious manhours checking in on families who don't need their services, while the children who are truly suffering slip through the cracks. We have all heard the cases involving children who were brutalized and killed despite the fact that CPS had already been involved. Most of the time, there was a lapse in contact with these families of a year or longer because the department's personnel were stretched way too thin, handling more of a case load than they can reasonably handle. The percentage of reports to CPS over vvendettas is astounding. Abusing the 9-1-1 system is a crime in most states and so is filing afalse police report. This should be treated no differently.
The only timeI ever called them to report someone, it was done with the utmost of love in my heart. My best friend was stuck in a relationship with a very bad man who beat her and hit her little girls. He also got her hooked on drugs, and I was afraid for her and her girls. I knew that someday she would understand and thank me for caring enough not to look the other way. When I told her I was calling them, she actually thanked me on the spot and knew they could help her get away from her abuser. It took a while, but in the meantime she was given services she was badly in need of.
If youcan't hoestly say that you are motivated strictly by love, then you have no business reporting anyone to CPS.
