How about some other related names?

Eta, something like Lewis is easy but maybe too similar sounding, not distinctive enough. What about Aloysius? I kind of love it. With a "Lou" nickname?

What about Louis (Lou-wee)? As a middle?

Tell him you'd be willing to use his first or middle name as a middle name for the baby, but you want him to be his own person. Or you could see if his name has a variation, like William and Liam.

I don't think men are entitled to have their juniors. Compromise. Incorporate his name into the baby's name while still giving your son his own identity separate from his father.

My son's middle name is my husband's first name. And I put up a fight about that even  But my daughter and I share a middle name so I guess I kind of did the same thing, I wouldn't want her to share my first name though.....I don't understand why men do.
