C-Section Hospital Bag Lil Monster Chloe's Mommy 1 child; Michigan 404 posts

I'm 38 weeks and have yet to pack bags for me, my impending little man, or my daughter. Now of course I know what to pack my daughter for an overnight at Grandmas (daddy is only staying overnight with me one day) and I only need a couple items for the baby but is there anything you really wish you had brought for yourself that you didn't have? I'm racking my brain but it's pretty frazzled. Note: I am going to be breastfeeding and will be at the hospital for 3 days.

Oh definitely some change. I remember being hungry at night and my husband having to go find somewhere that was open late lol. I have to remember that for myself.

Do you think it would be smart to maybe pack my own snacks? I can't stand hospital food. And does anyone know how long after your section you're not allowed to eat for or was that only because I had needed general anesthesia?

For my section I was on real food like 8 hours later, it's at the choice of the doc. My hospitals food was actually yummy and they let me order enough to feed DH and I all day!! Lol but it would depend on the hospital! I would bring a few cups of jello and some fruit (cuz you can't get those in the vending machine!)
