my 4 year old has a mattress on her toddler bed that fits a crib. She's only used it for about a year. Can I use that same mattress for the new baby's crib? or should I buy a new one? Its in good condition, no tears or anything.
I would use it. Only time I wouldn't use a used mattress is if it belonged to someone else. They are expensive.
I can't see any reason why you couldn't re-use it if it's still in good condition. :)
We will be reusing DD's crib mattress. I don't see a bit deal as long as it's not in rough shape.
If it is one of those plastic types ones, you can reuse them, even use a used one. They don't hold germs and such like a regular mattress....

yup its vinyl or w/e that plastic stuff is all the way around it
I would use it. I am going to save DD's crib mattress for her future brother/sister. I won't be having another baby for quite a while seems my husband and I are separated and I am getting an IUD this month but I still want to keep everything and DD will be using it for a while in her toddler bed anyway
