This is going to be my first baby and I was wondering if I should put my little guy in the room with me for a while or just put him in his room when he goes to bed at night?:D

There is no right or wrong answer there. It needs to come down to what you are more comfortable with. DD was in my room in a bassinet, and some times we co-slept until she was too big for the bassinet.

Whatever you are comfortable with.

I suggest keeping him in your room for a few months.

I have my babies in the room with me until they are sleeping through the night. It is such a pain to night feed and have to walk lol.

Until they slept through the night from about 1 month old, I put them down for naps in their bed in their room, to get used to that as well.

But it's up to what works for you and your family!

That is such a personal and family choice/decision! All we can do is tell you what we've done and has worked for each of us individually. With all of mine, I kept them in my room in the bassinet until about 3-4 months. There's not really a specific reason for that timing, it's just what worked and felt right for us! You're the best one to know what makes you most comfortable!

I was going to do this but by 6 months I put him in his own room because he still wasn't sleeping through and grew out of his bassinet. He's now 15 months and still doesnt sleep through.

It is recommended to reduce the risk of SIDS to room in with baby.

3. Keep your baby

I hope this one is an easier newborn than DS was, he was a nightmare. He never slept and screamed all the time, it kinda scared me into not having another, but now I'm pregnant again lol.

Aww that's no fun :( my friend had a baby exactly the same time and we were following the same basic routines (using the Baby Whisperers advice ;) ) and her son did the same thing (screamed and never slept more than 2 hours) and my daughter slept through by 2 1/2 months. Like 8 hours slept through.
It all depends on the baby!
Little baby inside be nice to your mommy!!
