What did you get your 3 year old for their birthday? My DS is turning 3 in September and I am trying to figure out what to get him. He has so many toys it's not even funny. I want to get rid of a lot of them because most of them he doesn't even play with lol.

We got my son a bike for his 3rd birthday. He is still learning to ride it.

That's definitely my number one thing I am getting him. He just learned to ride his tricycle, so I am wanting to get him a real bike.

DS#2 is turning 3 in September too! He asked for the same as his big bro. We took DS#1 out for a fun day and took lots of pics and now he loves looking at his pics and I think that's why DS#2 wants the same thing. So we're going to IHOP for breakfast then aquarium/zoo, and shopping for 1 "special" gift.

and by special, I mean they got to choose the 1 thing they wanted from the toy store...what did DS#1 pick? a $1.50 bottle of bubbles. We pretty much begged him to pick something else to add to it, but nope, all he wanted was bubbles.

That sounds like a great birthday :) I was thinking maybe Monkey Joe's or having his birthday party at the end of August so we could have a pool party. I am not sure yet but I need to figure it out soon lol.

He is obsessed with bubbles lol they were right at the entrance so we thought "oh once we walk around he'll want something else" we spent over an hour walking through the store, showing him things and he would be like "Oh that's nice..." and keep going. We got to the front of the store again and we're like "So now that you have seen everything, what do you want?"

"bubbles"

lol it made him happy, so we left it alone and just got the bubbles.

If he has loads of stuff already, could you do a birthday treat instead? Go to the zoo, funfair, a kids museum, petting zoo, whatever he wants!
