I just watched a video of a man who is defending his use of coupons on dates.

He says when he goes out on dates, he uses coupons if he has one for bowling or dinner, or the movies.

What are your thoughts on this? Is he just being cheap or not?

My thoughts are, he is trying to save money, what if we were to start a relationship down the line, it means he likes to save money

I didn't watch the video, but my input is; First date, no (unless you can hide it to where she doesn't know at all), beyond that go for it!!

As long as he's not like, "I know you hate bowling but that's where we're going because I have a coupon", I don't think it's an issue.

A lot of women are very superficial. They're usually bitches too though, so its a good way to weed them out? lol

I think it's kind of tacky to pop up coupons on the first date. After that, if you're going on a date with your husband, boyfriend who've you been with for a while now, who gives a shit. I use coupons all the damn time.

Nothing wrong with him wanting to save a little money. I think he's smart dates can be expensive and if he is paying let him use his coupons so he can save some money.

Well, I'm glad DH didn't think I was being cheap  we went to IHOP on our first date, which just so happened the morning after we had sex  and I was like "yeah, we're paying separate so we can both get our military discounts"

lmfao I was all sorts of fucked up huh? gave it up before the first date, and couponed after the date.

5 years later, he still thinks I'm amazing 8)
