I know I am still early yet but I am thinking about bringing some outfits with me to the hospital for my little boy and me. I am thinking about bringing around 4. I have to have a c-section because I have already had 2 with my girls. Do you think it is a good idea to bring some outfits so we can dress him or did you guys just bring one to bring them home in? Thank you so much.

I brought a bunch of sleepers for my second son, I didn't know I was allowed to do that with my first son.

I just brought something to bring him home in. I kept him in the white shirts that the hospital gives you while we were there so his cord wouldn't stain anything we bought.

Hell yeah! I brought all kinds of outfits for my kids. My youngest had to go straight to the nicu and stayed there for 3 weeks but my first went home in her own clothes. Hell, she wore her own clothes while we were still in the hospital.

I never thought about the cord staining his clothes. Thank you.

I'm sorry about your youngest having to go straight to the nicu but glad your oldest caught to come home in there clothes. I can't. Wait for October to get here. Thank you.

Clothes aren't provided in Australia. We pack everything except nappies.

It's all good :) She's a big healthy 2 year old now :)
Yeah, I HATED the little straight jackets they give you in the hospital and bitched at them every time they put it on her

I hate those straight jackets too. I believe with my oldest I didn't dress her in the hospital but I believe with my youngest I did.

I already know what sleeper I am bringing my little girl home in and by MIL gave me a bunch of similar shirts that they provide in the hospital that she bought in China (where she lives) and I plan on bringing those :) They have cute little patterns on them.

Those sound really cute. My DH and I have a lot of adorable boy clothes. I already know what 3 I am bringing for sure.
