We only use a babysitter like once a month or once every two months but the only one we have is moving to a different city now that she graduated high school. So, should I ask her if she knows anyone that we could use? There's a drop in daycare and LO's new preschool that we have during the day, but when I actually need a baby sitter is when I go out with friends now and then on the weekends and I don't get home usually till 11. She is DH's co-workers daughter and very trustworthy so I really hate to loose her. How do you find babysitters?

I would. I would only use someone that I know personally or was referred by someone I know personally.

Thanks! All my co-workers have children my age and I don't know if DH has anymore with teenagers. I want to go to the Reggae festival this weekend with a friend but can't unless I get a babysitter!!

Have you thought about trying to see if your local high school has a child development class? If so you can work with the teacher in hiring a new babysitter that is top of the class and trustworthy. I went through this class and that's one way we got babysitting jobs.
