I had experienced bleeding the last few days, so I went to the hospital. Found out I'm 14 weeks with a healthy baby, but with a 4cm Cyst On My Right Ovary. Could this harm my baby?
It's unlikely that it will hurt the baby. Most women have smaller cysts during early pregnancy. Here's a good link (http://www.omnigynaecare.com.au/earlypregnancycare/ovariancystsinearlypregnancy/)
Basically though it supports the pregnancy until your placenta takes over. Since it's on the bigger side though, they will most likely monitor it just to make sure it isn't getting bigger or causing other issues. Good luck!
Thanks for the advice.
I'm 35 weeks and I had a 10cm cyst for the first 20 weeks. Everything is fine. You are very likely to be fine as well. I had one with my son that actually burst around 7 weeks- horribly painful but turned out fine
