I want to make a bunch and store it so we don't need to make it every time we have a meal that needs it, and so we don't need to buy store bought, because I hate them all.

Do you know how to can? I won't go through the whole process if you know. But, add a teaspoon or 2 of lemon juice to the mix, the extra acid is what keeps botulism from growing. Make sure you boil the jars for 10 minutes after filling, to cook out any other impurities.
I freeze it as well. I have a ton of canning jars, but no idea how to can. :lol: I use them mostly for easy, cheap gifts to people.
