Could this be MS related? Caydence's mommy 4/4/09 32 kids; Las Vegas, Nevada 8491 posts

SOs moms hands have been locking up on her all day. Right now her hand is locked up really bad. She is rubbing it to see if that helps unlock them. As soon as she gets them unlocked they lock back up after a few seconds. She's had MS for years but never had something like this happen before. She's in a lot of pain right now to where she's almost in tears. Also is there anything else we can do to get her hands to unlock?

Probably is but I would suggest her to go get check out just in case. I have fibromyalgia and I get very weak in my left hand often. Sometimes the fingers will lock up and don't want to grip anything but not to that extreme. It is always better to be safe then sorry.

Quoting rpgmomma8404:" Probably is but I would suggest her to go get check out just in case. I have fibromyalgia and I get very ... [snip!] ... the fingers will lock up and don't want to grip anything but not to that extreme. It is always better to be safe then sorry. "

I hope it's not that and even more I hope it's not MS related because if it is its only going to get worse. That and it takes her anywhere from 1-2 months to get in to be seen by her neurologist because she has so many patients but that's because she is one of the best in town.
