Too soon to work out??? My baby has been sleeping a nice chunk each morning I'm thinking I need to start my p90x! I need to change my body so I don't feel like crying everytime I look in the mirror. I feel great. Still spotting here and there but nothing terrible. Working out wont give me an infection like sex right? Probably a stupid question...

Ugh, I hate my body, too. Have you done any exercises since having the baby? I wouldn't jump right into something like P90X. It's pretty intense, right? I'd probably ease myself into it. Personally, I'm not starting anything vigorous until after my 6 week checkup.

I would wait. I don't think you would get an infection, but you don't want to do too much too soon and P90X is pretty hard core.

I don't know if my doctor was a quack but he told me at my 2 week pp checkup that I could go back to my normal activities.

Listen to your body. You might be able to & it could also be too much. I was working out 3 weeks after my last.



Try it out & if its too much, pull back some. Continue on with it if you feel okay

I think you could work out if you feel fine but p90x is intense. Did you do it prepregnancy?

I started walking at 3 weeks pp but i would not suggest p90x.... that shit is intense. You don't want to rip your abdominal muscles and be in pain and unable to do anything for another 6 weeks.

You could hemorrhage. Keep it mild til bleeding has stopped and ease into it slowly, don't jump straight into something intense.
