My daughter started preschool at age 3 and was sick within the first week and it seemed like she had a runny nose every other week. She got the flu once was all though so it wasn't too bad. The second year of preschool was a breeze and she was only sick once.

Quoting Kelly&Coralie:" How often did your kids get sick after starting school? Cora starts kinder in a few weeks and I am ... [snip!] ... has never been in daycare or preschool before and everyone says that she'll get sick really easily at the beginning of school."

her first year in daycare was AWFUL. The entire family was sick and tired from about November through April. The second yeard was much better. Third year has been FINE!
Personally, I had to go to the doc as I was convinced something else was wrong with me. Fortunately, it was just daycare kooties.

<blockquote><b>Quoting Kelly&Coralie:</b>" Good to hear A lot of people (mostly older people) are telling me that she'll get so sick all the time cause she has never been around kids like this before. "</blockquote>

That shouldn't be an issue as long as she's proactive with hand washing, Mariah's teacher provides lots of hand sanitizer, and is good about not touching her face.. Those types of things
