We actually have some fish. We have about 4 I think. We have 2 kissing fish, one bottom feeder and one glow fish. Thank you.

But I would prefer a ferret over a hamster. I hate hamsters. I don't see why they are pets."</blockquote>

We have 5...they all poop in their box (a rubbing alcohol soaked rag where you don't want them pooping will deter them) and if their poop stinks that bad you're feeding them shit food.

You could also try a rabbit?
I LOVE rabbits and have fostered them as well as owning them.
They are caged and small. And very easy to take care of. Just make sure to keep fresh water and food and to clean their bedding.
I would get a baby though so that you can make sure it's tame. :)

I love the idea of a rabbit thank you so much. I will suggest that to DH instead. Rabbits are super cute too.

My 5 year old has a hamster & does just fine with it. We've had it for about a year.
