I would say gallbladder, but it's usually the right side...or the center. I have gallstones and I experience pain on both sides and the center. I don't vomit or run fever, or have any of those other symptoms. Just pain. It also radiates into my shoulder and back.

I had my gall bladder removed about 2 years ago- it started as a burning type feeling right up underneath my sternum....over the weekend before I had (emergency) surgery on Monday it got worse and worse as it crept down along the bottom of my rib cage till it got somewhere around where my liver is. by the time it got to my liver area- I thought I was dying. (annnnnnyyyyyways- I don't think its his gallbladder)

maybe kidney stones you think? - that corresponds with the pain area

Either something he ate is not sitting well, or maybe it is a very mild case of gastroenteritis. There is a tummy bug going around that seems very mild.

lower left side pain to me says constipation. gallbladder would be upper right, kidney would cause back pain, what you could do is make a fist and lightly hit mid back on the sides if it hurts it's likely his kidney/s. (i only have one kidney had one removed in 2008, so i know how bad kidney infections suck lol) but yeah lower left pain sounds like a bowel/constipation issue.

Oh yeah. I've had gallbladder disease caused by pregnancy since December. It's miserable. Honestly, the worst pain I've ever experienced. Even worse than my recovery from my c-section and that was pretty hellacious.

When I was in the ER, while pregnant, for a gallbladder attack (before I was diagnosed with gallbladder disease) the doctor told me I had......I can't remember the name of it for the life of me. It's right on the tip of my tongue! Any way, it's basically inflammation of the chest wall. It was a misdiagnosis, but...Maybe that's what he has? That's my best guess!
