I agree I wouldn't worry at all. My d was slow to talk and very hard for others to understand until she was like 4. I have had her speech evaluated every year since she's been two and she's going to be 6 and her speech teacher said this yr she will assess her again. If she has had no change from last year they're finally gonna put her in speech. There's a HUGE normal age range or speech.

If it makes you feel better jayden doesn't say much either , he says ball, mommy, dada, nana, juice, mine, spongebob lol, hi, bye, doggy, cracker, buba, bus, he just tries to copy what he we say , when he wants something he put I want infront , what we did is just keep repeating stuff to him and he tries to repeat . Same thing with body parts my SO taught him where his belly button is, and I kept on pointing at my nose and saying nose something with teeth , so he knows nose, teeth and his hair lol. Just repeat something's to her she will understand. And his pedi is not concerned so don't worry about it she's doing good :)

Yeah Aika tries to copy me too. Does Jayden still cry a lot? I feel like Aika does and since she can't communicate, it just makes it frustrating for the both of us. Aww, I miss seeing you & Jayden. I wish I could have seen you and him. Sorry I couldn't make it to Boston this last trip I took. I didn't have enough time since I only had a week and a half to travel to all the states I went to. I should go over there soon. BD's family is all over there so when I head around your neck of the woods I'll let you know so we can plan a playdate.

my son is 21 months and doesn't say a damn thing. well I take that back.he says "hot" and that's it. I'm not worried tho. I'm sure when he goes to his 2 yr appt they will send him to a speech therapist tho. but I can tell him to go get his shoes, turtle, monkey, turn on the tv..and he will do it..
