If LO's dad has food allergies (like avacado) should I avoid eating it while nursing?

What about when we start solds? (which isn't anytime soon lol)

No, allergies aren't inherited.

you shouldn't avoid it, but you need to be more cautions and aware when introducing them.

You should be fine to eat it while pregnant and just be cautious when introducing it when they start solids, the only one to delay extra due to parental allergies that I've heard of are nut allergies since they can be really bad.

I have heard its just a higher possibility for a child to be allergic to something if someone else like a parent is. My mom, DS2 and I are all allergic to wool and both DS2 and my brother are allergic to milk.
