my son is 20 months and he needs done kind if discipline. w are on vacation right now and when we get home some kind of system needs to be worked out. he had ever only listened to his dad, but dad is gone now so we have to figure this shit out together. I was thinking about setting up his pack and play and user it for time outs, but on this trip he has figured out how to get in and out of it himself.

Keep putting him back in until he gets it? We do that with a spot in our kitchen. I don't care how many times it takes, I put them back. I deserve just as much respect as their dad does, and I won't tolerate any less.

use a chair, sounds like the pack and play is too dangerous now. keep sitting him down, he will get it.
and just be consistent with everything. follow through. im sure you know this though...

I have a bench that says "time out" on it. Ds knows its where he goes until he calms down and says sorry. Lol it's helped a lot.
