and I can actually understand most of what he's saying, lol! He stays down at his grandparents for a few days every other week so when he's there I like to call at least once a day. Now he's starting to be able to talk to me more, this morning was great! I've been missing him already, I took him down there Saturday evening and they asked if they could keep him till Wednesday and I guess I'm fine with that, lol. He usually only stays 2 nights then DH picks him up, so this is like double that. Anyway, I miss him and I'm super excited that we had a good little conversation over the phone today! He sounds so different over the phone too, lol.

What are things that you're excited about that you're LO can do know that they're a bit older?

I know I was super excited when my oldest two could buckle themselves in the car. So excited that I went and bought a VW Beetle, then found out I was blessed with this very unplanned pregnancy 3 months later, that was a short lived car ownership. lol

My LO loves talking to his gram on the phone. :) he listens to her sign to him and he tells her stories! It is the cutest thing!

lol, yeah. I have a mini cooper so I was sooooo glad when I finally turned him ffing! He definitely can not buckle himself up though, won't be for a long while.

Yeah mine were 4 & 5 before they really had it down, plus waited until they both were big enough for just boosters before I let them do it all on their own.

My LO always talks to both grandma's on the phone. He's always saying "I have so many things to tell you" then starts naming random things that he sees while walking around with the phone, lol. It was just so cute this morning because I was able to ask him questions and he was able to respond really well! Ugh, I miss him, lol! I'm usually fine while he's gone but for some reason this time I just miss my little buddy.

I'm also slightly concerned because DH's trouble maker nephew just moved back in to the grand parents house (literally moving his stuff in when I got there with LO and I didn't know) and I don't trust him. I want to have the "bad touch" talk with LO soon, just in case but I worry that he won't understand any of it.

Mine will be staying harnessed for a long while in his new seat but it converts to a booster when we're ready!

I love that DD can use the washroom alone, she goes in and does what she has to do, washes her hands, bed time and mornings she brushes her teeth as well without being told. Its sad because she is growing up but she is just becoming so wonderful.
