What are all your nine month olds doing ? DS will be 9 months next week and he can clap his hands and wave hello and say mama, dad, papa, and bye, and he cruises along furniture. He seems a bit behind in physical milestones. He's not crawling, pulling up, or walking just yet.
Not all babies crawl. 9 months is early to walk unassisted. You said he is cruising which is great.
He says mamma. Pulls himself up. Craws super fast. Makes weird noses his siblings teach him. That is about it. But he was a preemie.
Lo is 11 months told but when he was 9 months he started taking steps and walking along furniture. His gross motor skills were awesome. Forever he has yet to really say any words. He will sing ba ba and when he cries he fill Kinda say ma ma but im not sure if its a Word or just sounds yet :(
That's not behind at all, IMO.
DS is 9 months (10 months Sat) and he crawls, climbs, cruises, claps, blows raspberries like there's no tomorrow, pats his mouth doing the "indian" noise (which is so not PC but he picked it up on his own and thinks it's hilarious) he has tried to take a few steps... can't quite balance after he's taken a step but he's trying... he's crazy good at pulling himself up and he can stand on his own balancing once he's pulled himself up but he cant stand up without pulling himself up yet... he's almost there... he tends to use mommy or daddy's leg to help him
I forgot to add he has TONS of words! He says mama (his first word) dada, air-a (for his auntie Sarah), nose, toes, yes, hi, am-ma (for his grandmas), papa, and you. :)

My son will be 10 months on the 31st. He claps his hands and can say mama and dada but that's it :/ he just now within the last week pulled up in his crib but he can't cruise yet and his "crawling" is army crawling really really fast lol and he can sit up straight from his belly to his butt in the middle of the floor. And he doesn't like hearing the word no lol. He can barely even eat table food, I think he is definetly behind a bit but I'm not worried about it :).
He started to clap, cruise, climb up stairs, talking a little....yours sound good.
Yeah I thought it was odd that he wasn't crawling yet because my friends son is 5 months and crawling already. I guess every baby is different
That's not behind, that's pretty darn normal. My daughter never crawled, she "butt scooted." She walked at 13 months. Just remember that every baby is different, and there is a huge milestone gap. My son walked at 8 months, which is pretty early.
He says mama, dada, bye bye, hey, papa, baba. He waves. he crawls and pulls up. He walked across the living room today hold on to a toy!!:)
too cute ..my baby girl will be 9 months in \September....she currently 7 months an she also blows raspberries since she was 2 months ..she started standing crawling here and there an at 2 months said momma and 4 months said aapa in Tamil which is another word for dad ,and now she says ay every time she is thinks shes falling and says dadda, aapa , momma, aama , mom , and uncle in Tamil . First time parents an we love every moment of it ..it sure is a blessing ....My husband is already thinking of having another little one :) ...
