do you recommend them?
my 5 week old has a stuffy nose/throat? cant really suck any thing out of her nose seems like its just dripping in her throat or something :( she sounds pretty stuffy :( i feel so bad.
Little noses saline drops work great.
I used them..they help loosen up the mucous in the nose so it is easier to suck them out. They are just the regular saline drops..won't hurt anyway
Cvs brand saline drops work great!!! Much better than that booger sucky thing!
Go ahead, but waste money on the drops. Saline can be made at home. Salt and water on the stove. http://www.aboutkidshealth.ca/En/HealthAZ/TestsAndTreatments/HomeHealthCare/Pages/Normal-Saline-Solution-How-prepare-home.aspx
Are u bfing? Cause bm works well. If not we had an expensive one by arm and hammer but it misted it up her nose and I thought it was easier than tryin to drip saline in. She kinda liked it too lol
A hot or cold humidifier works well too.
i am breast feeding. how do you go about that way?
going to try a steamy shower again tonight. i was just told today by a friend that she used them.
My son was like that a few weeks ago, and I was told to try and turn the shower on and close the bathroom door so the steam could build up. It helped loosen up a lot of his mucous. I felt bad cause it was all in his throat and not in his nose so I couldn't bulb suck any out. Turned out to be allergies and infant claritin cleared it up.
Quoting Chelsey Lee:" My son was like that a few weeks ago, and I was told to try and turn the shower on and close the bathroom ... [snip!] ... his throat and not in his nose so I couldn't bulb suck any out. Turned out to be allergies and infant claritin cleared it up."
