Omg. So while I can breathe easier since she dropped, I have SO much more pressure (honestly didn't know it was possible to have more than I have the past couple weeks). Like it hurts to even wipe after I pee let alone walking or sitting on anything besides a super soft pillow on top of the couch. I have a doctor appointment tomorrow morning and I'm hoping all this discomfort and pain has at least made me progress a little bit. But I'm really nervous I'll go in and she'll tell me I'm still a 0 with no effacement.

:(

I've been wondering how I could tell if the baby has dropped. My breathing doesn't feel any different, but I am peeing far more frequently (noticed this change in the last week) and it hurts down there too - I'm also 5-6cm dilated and completely effaced. Where is this kid!?. This didn't happen with my first so I don't know what it means. Ahhhhh - I guess all of us who are near to our delivery dates are hoping for that magic sign that will tell us "Yes, you are going to go into labor in the next day or two"....if only that could happen.

Oh wow! You're very dilated. I totally wish there was a "you're going to go into labor in the next 24 hours" signal. I'm trying for a vbac so I've never had any of these feelings either. It feels like a professional punter kicked me in the vagina a couple times.

I have had so much pressure for the past few weeks and contractions that had me going into L&D over the weekend. I'm a repeat c-section so if I had dilated they would have went ahead but still no progress after hours in L&D. I was hoping when I went back to the doctor yesterday but still nothing. Thats just me being whiny. I know he will be here by middle of next week when I have my scheduled c-section and everyday he stays put the better. I'm just tired and whiny and I'm really tired of doing the tip toe walk everytime I get up because the pressure is so bad!
